Next Meeting – 14th October – Neuroscience for L&D

There’s a lot of interest in the neuroscience of learning at the moment but it can all feel a bit overwhelming when there’s so much information to choose from.
Neuroscience is all the rage at the moment but how does it apply to you in your role? Join our “Mexican Brainwave” to explore some neuroscience behind increasing productivity, improving wellbeing and enhancing learning at work.
You will challenge some of your current thinking, find scientific support for what you already do well and generate new practical ideas for working and learning more effectively.
You don’t actually need to be a neuroscientist to be great in your learning role but walk away with some influential and practical ideas you can use from neuroscience.

Speaker: Stella Collinsstella

Stella is Creative Director at Stellar Learning; transforming training particularly if it’s tough, technical or tortuous.

Stella is also author of “Neuroscience for Learning and Development” and co-author of 2 Management Pocketbooks. She has a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Human Communication and is a Fellow of ITOL. She consistently uses the “brain friendly” approach to consult on, design and deliver result based learning programmes with a creative twist. She has a clear understanding and solutions for the challenges faced by people asked to communicate tough or technical messages. Stella says “There is no such thing as a boring topic – just boring training”.
